Jack Straw -> Sugaree Cassidy Tennessee Jed -> New Minglewood Blues Cumberland Blues Lazy Lightnin' -> Supplication Deal
China Cat Sunflower -> I Know You Rider -> Man Smart (Woman Smarter) Never Trust A Woman Lost Sailor -> Saint Of Circumstance -> He's Gone -> Drums -> Space -> Not Fade Away -> Wharf Rat -> Around And Around -> Good Lovin'
Always loved this whole Greek run, but the Supplication, Deal, China/Rider are so tight! There not the longest versions BUT there so well played & the jams are SO tight that it doesn't matter, just top notch by the whole band!
Also, the Greek was such a great place to see the GD, like the frost as well. Love me 83-85 Dead but this greek run makes me love 82' as much if not more. The boy's came to play this night. And man did they deliver!

The sound on this is fantastic. I never got to see the band at the Greek, but so many good shows. Other highlights have been mentioned, but I love the "Tennessee Jed" too. It's herky-jerky in a really lovely way - Jerry's solo is like a long, clever story that doesn't make you laugh out loud, but is funny and insightful at the same time.

at this time, Bobby liked to wear really short cut-off shorts, a polo shirt with the color turned up. Quite the sight it was.

wow, the most rippin Deal solo I've ever heard hands down!! crazy good... and the Lazy/Sup before is perfect also. Excellent sound quality, great show!

That is the weirdest intro to Man Smart, Woman Smarter that I've heard them play. Almost sounds at first like they can't remember exactly how it goes until Bob starts in with the lyrics. Great sound all the way through.

Great dose of 82
I love this run at the Greek. Between these 3 shows, this night is probably my favourite. Really tight party Dead. Love that Cumberland and the first haf of the second set. All three nights (21-23)are well worth a listen.
As always, great Charlie Miller sound makes everything seem better!

Perhaps the most celebrated of that year's Greek run; this one delivers as good as '82 can, and that's saying a lot for what really amounts to a great, great year for the band.
Set 1 - *everything* is dialed in. Jack Straw > Sugaree ten times YES! And really watch out for that Supplication Blues - man, oh man they should have kept this one in the rotation - this is jut sizzling jazz.
Set 2 - CC>R just *smokes*, and the jam out of He's Gone all the way through the constitution of NFA proper really is the red meat of this show; we're talking about a big half-hour in the middle here, D>S included. The jam in particular out of Space is my absolute favorite part of the show; check out Brent's beep-boop computer-key tones that he revs up again at the suite finale. The Rat has some of the loveliest harmonies you'll hear in this era.
You *do* have to get on your early-80s Bob Weir dork-goggles for the last couple of numbers, and they really blow the encore, but who cares? An excellent show, and thanks once again to Mr. Miller for the beautiful remaster.
